He said he will be the chairman of the whole house and his ambition is to build bridges, enable dialogue and provide a space for meaningful and robust discussion. He said that he will not compromise on the dignity of the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chairman Senate however regretted that there certain elements who seek to incite divide and hatred. He said the PPP has always preferred the politics of reconciliation and the welfare of the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later, Saidal Khan Nasar took oath as the Deputy Chairman Senate, who was also elected unopposed as no other candidate submitted nomination papers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chairman Senate Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani administered him the oath.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad : Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani of PPP has taken oath as the Chairman of Senate.Presiding Officer Ishaq Dar administered him the oath.
