Additionally, the OIC expressed condemnation for the closure of the Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Al-Khalil (Hebron).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement, the OIC\u2019s General Secretariat labeled these actions as a continuation of Israel\u2019s repeated violations, as the occupying power, of the sanctity of holy places and the freedom of worship. The OIC emphasized that these actions represent a clear violation of the Geneva Conventions and international law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The OIC called upon the international community to assume its responsibilities in ending these serious violations, highlighting the importance of preserving the historical and legal status of Islamic and Christian holy sites in the occupied city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem).
