The meeting took place in Islamabad on Wednesday and focused on enhancing diplomatic and trade relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prime Minister Kakar expressed his contentment with the warm and cordial relations that exist between Pakistan and Rwanda. He conveyed Pakistan\u2019s keen interest in strengthening its ties with African nations, particularly in sectors such as trade, investment, information technology, agriculture, and fostering people-to-people exchanges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a significant move, Prime Minister Kakar extended an invitation for Rwanda to establish its diplomatic mission in Islamabad, demonstrating Pakistan\u2019s commitment to deeper collaboration. It\u2019s worth noting that Pakistan had inaugurated its mission in Kigali in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, the significance of parliamentary exchanges was underscored, with the Prime Minister appreciating the historic nature of President Kalinda Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier\u2019s visit as the first-ever Senate President from the Republic of Rwanda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Prime Minister Kakar lauded Rwanda\u2019s impressive economic growth in recent years, acknowledging the strides made by the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Dr. Kalinda Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier expressed his gratitude for the warm reception accorded to his delegation in Islamabad.
