Islamabad :  Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has said  Pakistan People’s party is the only political party which has its strong roots in  common people’s hearts and minds. He said that on this day said founding chairman of Pakistan People’s Party, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto founded Pakistan People’s Party in 1967.  He added,” it is PPP which  reflects the true aspirations of the poor, farmers, farm workers and the middle class living across Pakistan and impart them confidence to raise  their voices for their rights. He expressed these views in his message on 56th Foundation day of Pakistan People’s Party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaker National Assembly  also underscored that  People’s Party continued its struggle under the leadership of Ms. Nusrat Bhutto and Ms. Benazir Bhutto after the martyrdom of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He also added,” Ms. Benazir Bhutto Shaheed’s sacrifices for the restoration of democracy in Pakistan will always be remembered in golden letters in history.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said that Pakistan People’s Party is the most popular party from Karachi to Kashmir and there are a large number of workers of Pakistan People’s Party who are working hard to achieve the mission of Quaid-e- Awam and Shaheed  Benazir Bhutto. He said, “Pakistan People’s Party always leads country on the path of development and raised the standard of living of the downtrodden sections of the society whenever it forms governance.” He also paid tribute to the unforgettable sacrifices of the leaders and workers of Pakistan People’s Party for the restoration of democracy and promotion of democratic values in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said that the Pakistan People’s Party conferred this nation and  country with unanimous  constitution and laid the foundations of the nuclear program, besides establishing a network of universities, educational institutions, and hospitals. He said that the Pakistan People’s Party believes in expediency and the power of the people and  Pakistan People’s Party also remained successful for enactment of the 18th Amendment with the support of other political parties . He also emphasized that it Proved that People’s Party believes in people, democracy and strength of federal units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
