He said that Sufi saints were generous people, adding that<br>&#8220;I am happy that PNCA collaborating with Ajoka&#8221;. He said that more such events would organized to promote the culture of dialogue.<br>Written by Shahid Nadeem, and originally directed by late Madeeha Gauhar, the play narrates the story of Bulleh Shah\u2019s journey as a Sufi poet and his persecution by the clerics and rulers of Kasur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The paly\u2019s narrative was supported to great effect by live qawwali and dhamal, a devotional dance form.<br>The spiritually inspiring role of Bulleh Shah was played by Naseem Abbas, while Rai Kamran played the poet\u2019s Murshid (spiritual mentor), Shah Inayat. Sibte Hassan played the role of his arch rival Banda Singh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other cast included Muzammil Shabir, Usman Chaudhry, Bilal Mughal, Shehzad Sadiq, Luke Kelvin, Thomas, Meesam, Kashif, and Rai Ali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kanwal Christopher and Khawar Ali qawwal party sang Bulleh Shah\u2019s kalam (poetry) with gusto and vigour.
