The DP World ILT20 will help strengthen the UAE cricket team by providing local players opportunities.\u201d Gulf Giants secure a 31-run victory over Sharjah Warriors in the inaugural match of DP World ILT20 Season 2: The second season of the DP World ILT20 commenced with a resounding 31-run victory for the Gulf Giants against the Sharjah Warriors at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Former Indian cricketer and ace off-spinner Harbhajan Singh expressed his delight on his involvement with the league as ambassador and commentator. Whilst praising the UAE as an ideal venue to host franchise cricket, he also spoke on the tremendous value the DP World ILT20 brings to local and international cricketers towards skills demonstration and development. It is a very competitive league, with some of the finest players around the world who are in their prime.
