Due to continuous rain and snowfall, there have been reports of damage to the slums, financial loss and loss of life due to the collapse of the roof from some places.  There was a wave of joy among the farmers when the drying wheat, barley, mustard and other crops got a refreshing boost from the continuous rains for two days which were starting to get dry.
