TRAFFIC ADVISORY:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heavy traffic will be restricted to enter Islamabad from 0000hrs to 1400hrs and will be stopped at Rawat T-Cross, Chungi No. 26, 9th Avenue, Metro Ground Sabzi Mandi & 17 Mile Toll Plaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RESTRICTED ROUTES FROM EARLY MORNING TILL AFTERNOON FOR ROUTINE TRAFFIC<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1-Faizabad will remain completely closed for all types of traffic while Expressway will also be closed from Khanna Bridge to Faizabad for small vehicles.
2- Traffic will be restricted to enter Expressway, Faisal Avenue from Zero Point to Faizabad, from Khanna to Zero Point tomorrow.
3- Murree Road will remain closed from Rawal Dam Chowk to Faizabad.
4- Traffic will also be restricted to I-8 Signal IJP Road, Chand Tara Chowk, ADBP Checkpost, Garden Flyover, Dhokri Chowk, Khanna Bridge, Expressway, Best Western Hotel, and Murree Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ALTERNATE ROUTES FOR ROUTINE COMMUTERS\/TRAVELERS:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1- Traffic coming from Lahore may use the route of Rawat T-Cross to reach the motorway after passing through Rawalpindi Saddar Road and Peshawar GT Road.
2- Traffic from the old airport will take the Islamabad Expressway and will be diverted from Khanna Bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commuters may use Lehtrar Road, Captain Naeem Tufail Shaheed Chowk (Taramri Chowk), Park Road, Rawal Dam Chowk or Murree Road to reach Sector G or Kashmir Highway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those motorists traveling for Murree may turn from Kashmir Chowk and travel towards their destination from Bhara Kahu, the plan outlined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3- Those going to the Rawalpindi airport or Lahore can take 9th Avenue, Murree Road, or Rawal Road and take a right turn from Koral Flyover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COMMUNICATION DISRUPTIONS<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Temporary cellular disruptions are also anticipated around the Parade Ground – Shakar Parian vicinity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE TIMINGS<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official timings for the parade, traffic diversions, and network closure on March 23rd are from 0500 hrs to 1400 hrs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 21st, which is the full dress rehearsal day, these timings will be reduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, for the rehearsal planned for tomorrow, the closure timings will be further reduced to just 3-4 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
