Lahore : A rare recording of Pakistan’s legendary Qawwali maestro and singer Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan will be released after 34 years. The official Instagram account announced that the album, “Chains of Light”, will be released on September 20.This recording was completed in April 1990 with the entire band and included four kawalis, none of which had been heard before.The legendary Kavala was recorded in the wirehouse of Real World Studios and was discovered in 2021 during the renovation of the studio.
