Material Matters celebrates the tactile and expressive qualities of sculpture and ceramics.

Sculpture & Ceramic Group show

Lahore : Pakistan National Council of the Arts, Shakir Ali Museum, National Heritage and Culture Division, Government of Pakistan has organized sculpture and ceramic group show Curated and organised by Samra Cheema and Amna Masood entitled “Material Matters”.

‘Material Matters,’ an exhibition that celebrates the tactile and expressive qualities of sculpture and ceramics. This show brings together a diverse group of artists nationally who push the boundaries of their mediums, exploring themes of form, texture, and meaning. More then Fifteen National Artist Participated whose names are Jamil Hussain, Isma Hussain, Neelam Shaikh, Mirza Kabir Ahmed, Urhamish Ansari, Naheed Zaheer, Irfan Abdullah, Muhammad Atif Qureshi, Muhammad Arif Qureshi, Qaiser Shenwari, Munnaza Baqir, Faisal Rehman …etc..

Prof. Dr. Samina Nasim (Principal College of Art & Design, University of the Punjab) is the Chief Guest of this occasion. Artist Talk is also the part of the event speakers: Mr. Mansoor Zubari, Jamil Hussain, Muhammad Atif Khan. A large number of Artists, students, teachers and cultural personalities attend and enjoy the ceremony. All the press & electronic media are invited to attend & cover the occasion.
