Peshawar: , an eight-member of delegation from the Elementary and Secondary School Foundation (ESEF) and Merged Areas Education Foundation (MAEF) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa visited SEF-supported schools to observe operational practices and gain insights into the functionality of schools operating under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The schools visited included the Foundation Assisted School – Sherpao Colony I and People’s English Medium School.
During the visit, the delegation engaged with school management and teachers to discuss the support mechanisms provided under SEF programs. They observed the schools’ infrastructure, teaching methodologies, and student engagement strategies, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the operational framework.
The visit was led by Ashfaque Hussain Merani, Regional Head Karachi, SEF, who was accompanied by the District Heads of Karachi-I and Karachi-II. Mr. Merani provided a detailed briefing on the subsidy model, outlining its structure and the compliance standards expected from schools participating in SEF programs. The delegation was also introduced to SEF’s monitoring, assessment, and training processes, as well as the anticipated outcomes designed to ensure long-term educational impact.
Delegation members expressed their appreciation for SEF’s effective implementation of the PPP model and acknowledged its significant potential for further impact in advancing education.
