Allah has blessed Pakistan with mineralogy, Ruhol Alam

ISLAMABAD : Allah has blessed Pakistan with mineralogy, Bangladesh High Commissioner Ruhol Alam Siddique said at the inauguration of Gems and Minerals Exhibition at Centaurus Mall, Islamabad in collaboration with Winsome Marketing and Production, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce.
Ahsan Zafar Bakhtavari, President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce inaugurated the exhibition. Sardar Rashid Ilyas, owner of Centaurs Mall, Islamabad, Arif Qureshi and Ayesha Arif of Winsome Marketing & Production also spoke on the occasion.
High Commissioner of Bangladesh Ruhol Alam Siddique said that Allah has blessed Pakistan with mineralogy, of which precious stones and semi-precious stones are one of which Pakistan can gain a lot of benefit from its export. Such exhibition gives exposure to the companies. Three things are very important for the precious stone industry, which is local production, and local production will be accepted internationally when the international certificate is obtained, and thirdly, marketing. I will pray that Pakistan’s economy will develop along with this industry. Congratulations to Winsome Marketing & Production and Islamabad Chamber of Commerce for a successful Jam Exhibition.
President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari said that if the precious and semi-precious stone market of Pakistan is marketed in the right way, we can export about five billion dollars worth of precious stones and jewelry, but what is needed is that The Government of Pakistan should provide the facilities which are not available such as cutting and polishing machines and the most important international certificate. If facilities are provided at one place for the stones that are in Chitral, Gilgit, Skardu, they can be exported, but the stones extracted from here would be smuggled and after polishing, we import it back. The government of Pakistan is requested to pay special attention to the fact that there is a lot of potential in the precious stones and jewelry sector. Some people sell their products internationally through e-commerce platforms but unfortunately these products are not being exported these days, there is a need to encourage and facilitate such small and medium enterprises to sell there products on Amazon, present to the international market of Pakistan products. He Congratulations to the stall holders, Winsome Marketing and Production and Ayesha Arif for the excellent way they have organized the exhibition.
Sardar Rashid Ilyas, owner of Centaurus Mall, Islamabad, said that Centaurus has the honor of standing with every class and trying to highlight the neglected sections. We want to market whatever products have in Pakistan; we should take care of the thing that whoever makes the product should always be of quality and never take shortcuts. You are working as an ambassador of Pakistan. If you want to go to the international market, you have to develop the product according to the international market and you have to work hard for that. Our Gems & Jewelers industry has the finest quality of stones be it Neelum Valley, Swat or Gilgit. The Army Chief has taken steps in this regard, I will request him to promote the precious stones industry according to his vision and take it to the international market. This will also benefit the manufacturer and our country will also get remittances.
