Kashmiri will protest on Modi’s controversial visit to occupied Kashmir

Muzaffarabad: Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir announced to organize protest processions on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi controversial visit to Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).

In a statement issued to media, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali has said that Kashmiri people will protest across Kashmir including Muzaffarabad against Modi’s visit on March 7. 

He said that Narendra Modi should release the Hurriyat Kashmiri leadership before coming to the Kashmir Valley. 

He maintained that a visit in surveillance of more than 1 million soldiers have no value on ground, instead Modi should send them back to barracks.

“Narendra Modi is brazenly trying to prove himself as the ruler of Kashmir by visiting IIOJ&K under strict security and military siege”, he said.

Narendra Modi is visiting Kashmir once again to mislead the world as Indian army have killed thousands of Kashmiri citizens.

He said that due to the courage and bravery of the Kashmiri people who stood like a leaden wall in front of Indian imperialism, India is losing its own war in Kashmir.

“The Kashmiri people are well aware of the claims, promises and deceit of the Indian rulers, that is why every strategy of the Indian rulers is failing miserably”, he added.

Ghazali said that Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party should know that their dream of Hindutva and military rule over Jammu and Kashmir will never be fulfilled. 

“The people of the state will protect their freedom, land, Islamic traditions and Kashmiri culture at all costs”, he reiterated.

Uzair said that protests will be held across Azad Kashmir against the controversial visit of Narendra Mod, adding that a protest sit-in will be held in front of the Central Press Club.

Chairman appealed to the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to protest in their respective cities and areas against the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He also appealed to the United Nations to take notice of Narendra Modi’s visit and to give the Kashmiri people the right to self-determination for their future.
