PHRN and IHCBA) Join to Advance Human Rights and Justice

Islamabad – In a landmark move, Pakistan Human Resource Network (PHRN) and Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote human rights, peace, and justice in Pakistan.The MOU signing ceremony, at the Islamabad High Court, was attended by PHRN President Maria Rafique, IHCBA Secretary Shafqat Abbas Tarrar, Chairperson Women’s Rights Cell and Education Committee Mughiza Imtiaz, and Advocate Rana Ali Raza.This strategic partnership aims to address pressing human rights issues, including women’s empowerment, migrants’ rights, youth issues, and access to justice. By combining their expertise and resources, PHRN and IHCBA will work together to:- Provide legal aid and support to marginalized communities- Promote education and awareness about human rights- Advocate for policy changes and legislative reforms- Support victims of human rights violations”This partnership is a significant step forward in our mission to protect and promote human rights in Pakistan,” said Maria Rafique, President of PHRN. “We are excited to work with IHCBA to create a more just and equitable society for all.”Shafqat Abbas Tarrar, Secretary of IHCBA, added, “We are committed to upholding the rule of law and promoting human rights in Pakistan.
