Astana : A meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO member states was held in Astana
Under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu held a regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states.
Before the meeting, the participants observed a minute of silence in memory of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and other high-ranking officials died in the helicopter crash.
In preparation for the SCO Summit to be held in July this year in Astana, the heads of delegations “synchronized their watches” on a wide range of topical international and regional issues, exchanged views on the state and prospects of the Organization, including the issues of improving its activities.
