Rawalpindi : Punjab government and Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Islamabad are jointly starting a campaign from Saturday to restore Rawalpindi’s historic Takht Pari Forest. This initiative, part of the broader “Plant for Pakistan” movement, aims to rehabilitate the forest area that has been affected by encroachments and land-grabbing.
This forest restoration campaign represents an opportunity for citizens to contribute to environmental conservation and work towards a greener Pakistan. The initiative aligns with national efforts to combat deforestation and promote reforestation across the country.
All segments of the society have been invited to fully participate in the campaign.
