We are sharing today’s(19th August)most recent videos of the city as there is no rainwater standing anywhere. Mayor Sukkur Barrister Arslan Sheikh

In recent videos of Ghanta ghar, Bandar Road, High Court Road, Military Road, Old Sukkur, Tanga stand, and other areas, complete drainage work is visible.

The purpose of making videos is to inform the public and the media.

The way the media criticises by showing the suffering of the people, we hope that they will show our good works and efforts in the same manner.

We look at the criticism positively.

With such criticism, the administration works more diligently.

In 2022 rainy season, a total 12 days record rainfall of 374 mm was recorded.

Yesterday, 292 mm of downpour was recorded in just one day.

It is our duty to bring forward good initiatives that bring positive change in society.

These are the areas which used to be flooded by rainwater for 20 days in the past.

There used to be loss of lives and the properties of the citizens.

By the grace of Allah, no harm was done this time.

The drainage work was completed in all the areas within a few hours.

The public and the media are requested to appreciate all our workers who worked continuously for 30 hours. Spokesperson Sindh Government and Mayor Sukkur Barrister Arslan Islam Sheikh
