Sukkur, Pakistan – The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University in Sukkur, the first women’s university in Sindh, held an entry test for admission to various undergraduate and graduate programs for the year 2024. Despite heavy rainfall and bad weather, 1135 out of 1594 registered female students from all over Pakistan, including Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan, appeared for the test.
The university offers 14 degree programs, including BS English, Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Technology, Physics, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Biotechnology, Chemistry, B.Ed, MS (Education), BS Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, and Islamic Studies.
Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Tahmina Mangne, expressed her delight at the enthusiasm of parents and students for higher education, saying, “I am thrilled to see that parents in Sindh are now eager to provide higher education to their daughters, and this university belongs to you. We are here to serve you, and every student who comes here is like my own daughter.”
The students who appeared for the entry test praised the university administration for providing excellent facilities, despite the challenging weather conditions. The test saw a 99% attendance rate, reflecting the determination of the students and the university administration to pursue higher education.
