Islamabad : Discover the beauty of art at the Crafts Festival, featuring a talk, highlighting indigenous
people – Kalash, and award winning film screening “Discovering Greater Chitral’ by
Nageen Hyat for PTV Global on September 7 and 8 from 10 am to 7 pm at Kehkashan
1+2, Serena Hotels and Nomad Gallery Islamabad.

Join us for an immersive experience into the world of handicrafts, textiles and design
aesthetics, contemporary art, women’s economic empowerment; With a focus on
Pakistan’s indigenous community – the Kalash + film screening. Handicrafts are
represented by nomad partners from Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, KP, Gilgit Baltistan,
Kashmir as part of highlighting women’s exquisite creations and economic
empowerment for communities. Jewelry, textiles by artisan and women entrepreneurs
initiatives.

Hosted by the Serena Hotels cultural diplomacy program in collaboration with Nomad
Gallery, this event promises to captivate. Explore and support women’s empowerment
through exquisite craftsmanship, a unique opportunity to interact with the Kalash
community in person and through film screening.
