First digital parking has been launched in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The first state-of-the-art digital parking has been launched in Islamabad. Digital parking has been developed according to international standards. Initially digital parking has been launched in G-8 Markaz.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa visited Digital Parking. Board members of CDA and officers of relevant  formations CDA accompanied the Chairman during his visit.

While briefing Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, it was informed that initially the facility free of cost parking has been provided in the digital parking to create awareness among the public about digital parking.

Chairman  CDA was briefed that parking tickets of digital parking can be obtained while sitting in the car. The Digital Payment process has been introduced  in digital parking. Digital payment will include seven options including credit card, debit card, QR code, scratch card.

Chairman CDA was further informed that in the first phase, digital parking will be launched in F-7 Markaz, Centaurus and Blue Area Parking Plaza, after which digital parking will also be launched in various business centers of the city. He was further informed that the technology wing of CDA has introduced digital parking system by utilizing modern technology.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that the revenue obtained from digital parking will be used for the uplift of the same market. He further said that digital parking will improve business and economy in the city.
