Washington DC : Finance Minister Mr. Muhammad Aurangzeb participated in the Small Talks Forum hosted by Bank of America Securities. He provided a detailed overview of the Government’s macroeconomic stabilization efforts and the economy’s performance over the past year. The Finance Minister affirmed the Government’s commitment to reforms under the IMF’s Extended Fund Facility (EFF), including reforms in taxation, energy, privatization, and SOEs. He also informed that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is undergoing reforms in people, processes, and technology. The Finance Minister expressed the Government’s resolve to access international capital markets in due course. He invited partnerships in Pakistan’s agriculture, IT, mining, and renewable energy sectors.
