3rd National Level Wildlife Art Exhibition Opens at PNCA

Islamabad : — The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) is thrilled to welcome visitors to the highly anticipated 3rd National Level Wildlife Art Exhibition, which opened. This significant event brings the awe-inspiring works of acclaimed wildlife artists Ahsan Qureshi and Kamran Qureshi to the forefront, capturing the majestic beauty and diversity of Pakistan’s wildlife while shedding light on critical conservation efforts.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Romina Khurshid Alam, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change. In her opening remarks, Ms. Romina expressed gratitude to the artists for their dedication to conservation and to PNCA for organizing the exhibition. She praised Ahsan and Kamran Qureshi’s work for its power to educate and inspire a shared responsibility toward nature. She further announced, “The Ministry of Climate Change is committed to promoting awareness and support for wildlife conservation across Pakistan. We are planning a series of International Wildlife Exhibitions across the country to showcase the works and talent of Pakistani artists, promoting their impactful efforts both nationally and internationally.”
Ms. Romina emphasized the ministry’s commitment to nurturing and celebrating this emerging art genre, as well as its vital role in raising environmental awareness on a larger scale. By shining a spotlight on conservation-focused artists, these exhibitions will foster a stronger connection between the public and Pakistan’s precious natural habitats.
During the exhibition, Mr. Kamran Qureshi shared, “Having spent our lives together in the wilderness, we’ve learned to appreciate the harmony of all creation. We hope our canvases inspire others, urging them to preserve and protect this precious beauty.” Mr. Ahsan Qureshi reflected on the urgency of conservation efforts, stating, “It is distressing to see pristine environments deteriorate. Our works aim to capture nature at its best, to spark a sense of responsibility in preserving what remains for future generations.”
PNCA stands in full support of their cause, underscoring the Council’s dedication to fostering a healthier and more sustainable environment through art. Recognizing both traditional and contemporary art practices, PNCA remains committed to presenting Pakistan’s cultural diversity on local and national stages while nurturing professional growth within the artistic community.
This exhibition has already drawn a large and diverse audience, including artists, students, government officials, and media members, who expressed keen interest in the techniques and insights shared by Ahsan and Kamran.
