Gaza : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns in the strongest terms the occupation’s mass massacres against our people in the Gaza Strip that have been ongoing for 420 days, the latest of which was today’s massacre in Beit Lahia, as well as the crimes of ethnic cleansing, the demolition of buildings and homes en masse, and the emptying of the northern Gaza Strip of its residents and its dismemberment in an attempt to force more than 2 million Palestinians to be displaced by force from the Strip. The Ministry also strongly condemns the attacks and incursions of the occupation forces into Palestinian towns, cities and camps, and the terrorism of settlers and their armed and organized militias supported by the Israeli government.
The Ministry affirms that the steadfastness of our people and their adherence to their land will foil the occupation’s plans, and calls for international courage to force the Israeli government to immediately stop the war of extermination and displacement, and enable the State of Palestine to exercise its full sovereignty over the entire Gaza Strip and the land of the State of Palestine as defined by international legitimacy resolutions, and to bring aid into the Gaza Strip on a sustainable basis and withdraw the occupation army from the Strip.
For its part, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the embassies and missions of the State of Palestine, continues its follow-ups and movements with countries, components of the international community, and specialized international, legal and humanitarian organizations to expose the crimes of the occupation against our people, and holds the international community responsible for its failure to stop the war of extermination and implement the relevant international legitimacy resolutions, and stresses the importance of immediately starting to implement Security Council Resolution 2735, which stipulates a ceasefire, the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip, the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and enabling the State of Palestine to assume its full responsibilities in the Gaza Strip as in the West Bank, and stopping Israeli attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and emphasizing the implementation of the United Nations General Assembly resolution, regarding the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, regarding ending the occupation and settlement.
