Vice Chairman PRCS KP Calls on National Chairman PRCS

Islamabad, – The Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Branch, Mr. Farzand Wazir, met with the Honorable National Chairman of PRCS, Sardar Shahid Ahmed Laghari, at the National Headquarters.

During the meeting, Mr. Farzand Wazir provided a comprehensive briefing on the ongoing projects and initiatives being carried out by the KP Branch. He expressed his gratitude, highlighting that under the visionary leadership of Chairman Sardar Shahid Ahmed Laghari, the National Headquarters has consistently prioritized humanitarian service. He acknowledged that the guidance and support from the National Headquarters have been instrumental in ensuring the successful implementation of various programs and initiatives in the region.

Mr. Wazir emphasized that PRCS remains actively engaged in flood-affected areas, continuing to provide vital support to vulnerable communities. He noted that PRCS stands as the only humanitarian organization still on the ground, unwavering in its mission to assist those affected by the 2022 floods.

On this occasion, Mr. Wazir invited National Chairman Laghari to visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to witness firsthand progress of the branch’s activities and initiatives.

Chairman Sardar Shahid Ahmed Laghari reaffirmed the National Headquarters’ commitment to empowering PRCS branches nationwide. He emphasized that the National Headquarters will continue to extend its steadfast support to the KP Branch, focusing on strengthening its operations and expanding the reach of its humanitarian programs.

As a token of appreciation, Chairman Laghari presented a commemorative shield to Vice Chairman Farzand Wazir, acknowledging his dedication and efforts towards the betterment of PRCS operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The meeting underscores PRCS’s collective commitment to serving humanity and fostering collaboration across its network of branches, ensuring that no community is left behind in times of need.
