Punjab leads points table with 35 Gold Medals

Islamabad : Punjab is leading the points table, securing thirty-five Gold Medals in the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games, which are underway at Jinnah Stadium, Pakistan Sports Complex.

According to details, Punjab is leading the points table with 35 Gold Medals, 29 Silver, and 13 Bronze Medals, with a total tally of 77 Medals.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and the Federal Capital Islamabad are the runners-up, each bagging 5 Gold Medals.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa won 5 Gold, 9 Silver, and 9 Bronze Medals; Islamabad secured 5 Gold, 5 Silver, and 21 Bronze Medals; while Balochistan won 5 Gold, 4 Silver, and 7 Bronze Medals.

Sindh is in third position with 3 Gold, 5 Silver, and 10 Bronze Medals. Azad Jammu and Kashmir is in 4th position with 1 Gold, 2 Silver, and 4 Bronze Medals, while Gilgit Baltistan is in 5th position on the points table, winning 4 Bronze Medals.

Around 2,000 male and female athletes are competing in a total of 15 disciplines, including Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Football, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Karate, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Weightlifting, and Wrestling.
