Islamabad : The closing ceremony of the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games will be held at Liaquat Gymnasium in Islamabad this evening.
Punjab is leading points table with seventy-seven Gold Medals Khyber Pakhtunkhwa followed in second place by racking up twenty-four gold medals. Sindh and Balochistan secured the third position with fourteen gold medals each.
Islamabad stood fifth with five and Gilgit-Baltistan sixth with two gold medals. Azad Jammu and Kashmir claimed a single gold medal.
Punjab is leading at the points table with 72 Gold Medals, 47 Silver and 35 Bronze Medals with a total tally of 154 Medals.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is runner up with 22 Gold, 27 Silver and 35 Bronze Medals.
Balochistan is at third place securing 14 Gold, 13 Silver and 28 Bronze Medals.
Sindh is at fourth position bagging 13 Gold Medals 23 Silver and 26 Bronze Medals, while Federal Capital Islamabad is at 5th position by winning 5 Gold, 11 Silver and 35 Bronze Medals.
Around 2,000 male and female players and athletes are featuring in a total of 15 disciplines, including Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Football, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Karate, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Weightlifting and Wrestling.
The closing ceremony of the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games will be held at Liaquat Gymnasium in Islamabad tomorrow (Thursday) in the afternoon.
