Islamabad : King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre has launched an initiative to combat food insecurity among vulnerable communities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The initiative has been taken in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority and Provincial Disaster Management Authority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It is part of first cycle of Food Security Support Project for 2024-25, under which 10,000 food packages will be distributed in fourteen districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, targeting individuals living below the poverty line.
Under the initiative, 500 food packages have been distributed so far among displaced persons from Kurram district, who are currently residing in Tehsil Thall and facing urgent food insecurity.
This initiative highlights King Salman relief’s ongoing commitment to support vulnerable communities and address food insecurity across Pakistan.
