The Punjab Cabinet has decided to launch an extensive crackdown on criminal gangs and mafias operating in the province

  1. Extensive Crackdown on Criminal Gangs and Mafias: The Cabinet decided to launch a comprehensive crackdown on criminal gangs and mafias operating within private housing schemes. This initiative is aimed at addressing law and order issues related to organized crime.
  2. Streamlining NOC Issuance: The Cabinet resolved to streamline the issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for businesses, making the process more efficient and transparent across various government departments.
  3. Rawalpindi Ring Road Project: Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the speedy completion of the Rawalpindi Ring Road project, which is a vital infrastructure development.
  4. Kachahri Chowk Remodeling Project: The Cabinet approved the commencement of the Kachahri Chowk Remodeling project, which is expected to improve traffic flow and urban infrastructure.
  5. Rehabilitation of Metro Bus Stations: Funds were allocated for the rehabilitation of three stations of the Rawalpindi and Islamabad Metro Bus Service that suffered damage during events on May 9.
  6. Rawalpindi Safe City Project: The Cabinet formally approved the Rawalpindi Safe City Project, which aims to enhance security and surveillance in the city.

These decisions reflect the government’s commitment to addressing various issues in the province, including law and order, infrastructure development, and public safety.
