
Islamabad : Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan announced that the government has introduced transformative projects aimed at youth development.
Key discussions on international cooperation and exchanges will take place during the upcoming Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance (CAYA) Ministerial Summit in Pakistan.
In a media briefing, Khan highlighted that the summit would raise awareness about job and scholarship opportunities for young people, accessible through the Digital Youth Hub portal.
He emphasized the importance of economic and political stability for the nation’s progress, noting a positive global perception of Pakistan that invited international partnerships.

Khan stated, “Pakistan has successfully hosted the SCO summit and is witnessing significant foreign investments, with billions of dollars expected to flow into the country.”
He praised Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s initiatives, including providing laptops and scholarships, and creating opportunities in sports for the youth.
Shedding light on the history of youth empowerment, he mentioned that the youth program was originally launched by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in 2013.
The selection of 100 members for the National Youth Council from Pakistan and 13 international members was announced, with a formal oath-taking scheduled for Tuesday.
The CAYA Ministerial Summit, which begins tomorrow, will host delegations from 12 countries, including Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
The event aims to foster cooperation across various sectors.
Moreover, the summit will inaugurate the CAYA Secretariat in Pakistan and launch the Spark magazine.
The CAYA Youth Summit 2025 will gather young leaders and policymakers to address global challenges such as environmental issues, digital transformation, and socio-economic inclusion, furthering the commitment to empower youth for a sustainable future.
