Washington DC : US President Donald Trump has expressed gratitude to Pakistan’s government for assisting in the arrest of a key terrorist involved in the 2021 Kabul airport bombing. Addressing a joint session of Congress, he recalled that three and a half years ago, a terrorist killed thirteen American service members and countless others in the Abbey Gate bombing.
He said we have apprehended the top terrorist responsible for that atrocity. He also described it as a very huge day for the affected families.
In his speech, the POTUS praised the Pakistani government for helping arrest this “monster” and added that it was “a very huge day for the affected families.”
“Pakistan acted on CIA intelligence that led to the arrest of Sharifullah, according to another source familiar with the matter,” he said.
