Islamabad : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured the high-powered delegation of PPP to address its grievances related to the controversial canals and maintaining peace in Kurram district.
The PPP delegation was led by party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The prime minister had invited the PPP delegation to an Iftar dinner at PM House to address the grievances of key government ally.
“Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured the PPP of resolving their concerns regarding controversial canals, maintaining peace in Kurram district and assisting flood victims in Balochistan,” the press release issued by the PPP said.
Speaking on the occasion, the prime minister praised the PPP leadership for playing an active and dynamic role in fulfilling the aspirations of the people across all four provinces, and working closely with the federal government to improve the lives of ordinary citizens.
