Enhancing Diplomatic Ties: Pakistan’s Ambassador Presents Credentials to European Council President in Brussels

On October 9th in Brussels, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the European Union, Amna Baloch, officially presented her credentials to the President of the European Council, Mr. Charles Michel. During the ceremony, Ambassador Baloch conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from Pakistan’s President and Prime Minister. President Michel reciprocated these sentiments, reflecting the positive rapport between their leaderships.

In their meeting, both sides acknowledged the significant importance of Pakistan’s relationship with the European Union, characterizing it as a strategic and multifaceted partnership. They emphasized the crucial role of ongoing dialogue in nurturing a mutually advantageous connection. Ambassador Baloch also provided an update to President Michel on the humanitarian situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) and discussed the potential for the EU to contribute to the evolving geopolitical landscape.
