
Islamabad : The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) is delighted to announce the official formation of the Pakistan Women Tennis Association (PWTA), a landmark development in the promotion and growth of women’s tennis in Pakistan.
This milestone achievement is a testament to the vision and leadership of Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the PTF, who has consistently championed the cause of women’s tennis in the country.

Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President PTF, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, I am very happy to witness the formation of Pakistan’s first Women Tennis Association. As President of PTF, one of my primary objectives was to establish a dedicated body to promote women’s tennis, and I am proud to see it become a reality. PWTA will serve as a vital platform for the growth of women’s participation in tennis nationwide.
Ms. Asma Khawar Khawaja, President of PWTA, extended her gratitude to President PTF and outlined her vision, saying, I would like to thank Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi for making this vision a reality. Inshallah, PWTA will play a pivotal role in promoting and uplifting women’s tennis across Pakistan. We have already initiated discussions with Serena Hotel Islamabad, and in collaboration, we plan to launch a girl tennis camp in Islamabad. Followed by weekly tennis classes starting across different cities in Pakistan.
