In a joint statement following their meeting in Amman, Jordan, Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock have called for an immediate halt to the Israeli escalation in Gaza. The ministers expressed their strong opposition to the forced displacement of Palestinians and the imposition of collective punishment on them, deeming such actions as unacceptable.
Furthermore, both leaders emphasized the potentially catastrophic consequences of war and called for measures to safeguard the region from the risk of further escalation.
