APHC-AJK renews resolve to continue martyrs’ mission

Islamabad : A Seminar was held at the Kashmir House Islamabad of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Libration Cell, in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Jammu martyrs.   

APHC-AJK chapter Convener Mahmood Ahmed Saghar chaired the conference while chief guest Sardar Yaqoob Former President and Prime Minister AJK, AJK, Sardar Atiq Ahmed Khan Former Prime Minister AJK,Sardar Tanvir lyas Former Prime Minister AJK, Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr Mushtaq Ahmed ,  Ahmed Raza Qadri Minister AJK, Jamshid Ahmed Chairman Human Right Council Pakistan, Adocate Nabeela Irshad, Nasir Qadri, Raja Najabat Hussain, Syed Yousuf Naseem, Muhammad Rafiq Dar, Malik Ishaiq, Haji Arif,Abdul Ghani loan Choudry Farooq, Qazi Imran, Gulam Nabi Bhut, and other also participated in the function.

The speakers on the occasion paid tributes to the Jammu martyrs and said the Kashmiri people are observing the day with a renewed resolve to continue the martyrs’ mission until their inalienable right, the right to self-determination, is secured.

Speakers and Hurriyat leaders said that the brutal army of India and the cruel soldiers of Dogra Maharaja Hari Singh had committed atrocities to deprive the Kashmiri people of their right. They said that the Jammu martyrs sacrificed their lives for a great cause and their unprecedented sacrifices would never be forgotten.

They said that the present Kashmir freedom movement is peacefully carrying forward the mission of martyrs and would be accomplished at all costs. They said the day is not far when the Kashmiri people will be freed from the slavery of India and decide their future.

Speakers and Hurriyat leaders said unless the Kashmir dispute is resolved according to the will of the Kashmiri people and the resolutions of the United Nations, permanent peace cannot be established in South Asia.

The speakers said that the massacre of 6th November 1947 is a black mark on human values. The purpose of the massacre of the Muslims of Jammu was to turn the Muslim population of Jammu into a minority.

The speakers paid tribute to the Jammu martyrs and said that their great sacrifices would always be remembered. They also pledged to continue the mission of Kashmiri martyrs till taking it to its logical conclusion.  

They demanded of the United Nations, the world community and international human rights organizations to bring the Indian rulers and their terrorist organizations to justice for the massacre of Jammu and the killing of over 100,000 civilians after 1989.

They appealed to the international community to play its role in stopping the genocide of Kashmiris by India and for a just solution to the lingering Kashmir disput
