Senate Standing Committee on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan
Islamabad : The meeting of Senate Standing Committee on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan, scheduled to be held today was postponed, while protesting on the absence of the Secretary of the ministry. The Committee was presided by it’s Chairman Senator Prof. Sajid Mir.
The meeting was attended by Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Shahadat Awan,Senator Shaheen Khalid Butt.
The Committee was supposed to discuss the New Phase of CPEC and Gilgit Baltistan and the present position of Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Project. The Chairman Committee stated that the agenda before the meeting holds a pvitoal importance.
