Swat : A high-level meeting was held at the Commissioner’s Office, Saidu Sharif, in which discussed the Problems faced in Kalam and Ashuaran Micro Hydropower Project.
Swat District Police Officer Shafiullah Khan Gandapur,Additional Deputy Commissioner Swat Suhail Ahmad Khan, Assistant Commissioners Babuzai Muhammad Jawad, Assistant Commissioner Bahrain Sikandar Khan, officials of Sarhad Rural Support Program(SRSP) and other related officers and local elders participated in the meeting.
The meeting apprised of the administrative and other problems faced by the Kalam and Ashuaran micro-hydropower projects and requested assistance for their resolution.
Commissioner Malakand Division directed the Assistant Commissioner Bahrain to ensure the installation of electricity meters in collaboration with the team of Sarhad Rural Support Program(SRSP).
Commissioner Saqib Raza Aslam directed the Additional Deputy Commissioner Swat to hold a meeting with all the relevant stakeholders and adopt a comprehensive strategy to resolve all the issues so that this important project can continue without any hindrance and the area can benefit.
