NA Speaker assures legislative and administrative cooperation to GB Assembly
Islamabad : Speaker Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly Mr. Nazir Ahmed calls on National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf in Parliament House. Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that Gilgit Baltistan(GB) is blessed with unmatchable natural sceneries which render GB a potentially great destination. He also assured that all legislative and administrative support would be provided to newly established Gilgit Baltistan Assembly. He also said that supporting staff and members of GB legislative Assembly would be provided training in Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services ( PIPS) the enhance their professional capacity. He also said that peace in GB is essential for progress and development of the region.
Speaker Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly Mr. Nazir Ahmed appreciated cooperation extended by Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf. He also said that members and supporting staff would benefit professional from legislative and administrative experience of senior and seasoned staff of National Assembly of Pakistan and PIPS.
