RDA continues anti-encroachment drive
RDA demolishes sheds in Gulraiz Housing Scheme
RAWALPINDI, : On the directions of the Director General, Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, the Enforcement Squad RDA continuing its anti-encroachment drive, RDA spokesman said.
He said Enforcement Squad RDA has carried out an operation against illegal encroachments in Gulraiz Housing Scheme, Rawalpindi and removed / demolished sheds and structures infront of K&N shop, Dollars’ shop, Honda Autos, Bismillah Refreshment and other sheds and footpaths etc.
He said the Enforcement Squad RDA including Incharge / Assistant Director Building Control, Assistant Director Land Development, Building Inspectors and others conducted the operation against encroachments.
He said that the DG RDA, Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa has directed the Enforcement Squad RDA to take strict actions against encroachments on roads, housing schemes those come under RDA without any fear and favour.
Following directives of the DG RDA, Enforcement Squad RDA is actively conducting operations against illegal land use and encroachments within the controlled area of RDA in Rawalpindi, he added.
