Lahore : Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has issued directives for a comprehensive operation aimed at the complete eradication of dacoits in the Kacha area. A significant meeting convened at Rahim Yar Khan Airport, chaired by Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, critically assessed the ongoing operation against robbers in the Kacha region.
RPO Bahawalpur Rai Babar Saeed provided a detailed account of the robbers’ attack and the subsequent police response. The tragic events of yesterday were recounted during the briefing.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the need for unbiased action against the facilitators of robbers, underscoring the urgency to harvest crops promptly in uncultivated areas to deprive miscreants of hiding spots. During the briefing, it was revealed that three police constables were martyred in yesterday’s incident, while four robbers lost their lives in the ensuing police action.
Meanwhle; Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi reached Sheikh Zayed Hospital at Rahim Yar Khan to elevate the morale of police personnel getting injured due to the firing of dacoits in the Kacha Area. CM Mohsin Naqvi inquired after the health of injured constable Naveed Akhtar, Jameel Ahmad, Muhammad Imran, Abdul Razzaq, Asif Ali and Muhammad Sarwar. Mohsin Naqvi also inquired after a farmer getting injured due to the firing of dacoits. CM went to every injured and conversed with him. Mohsin Naqvi also inquired from the injured police personnel about details of the incident. CM raised the morale of the injured police personnel and issued directions to provide best treatment facilities to the injured personnel. Mohsin Naqvi acknowledged that the police officers and personnel combating the dacoits in the Kacha Area are the real heroes of the nation adding that the sacrifices of the martyred and injured police personnel will always be remembered.
Provincial Ministers, Additional Chief Secretary and IG Police also inquired after the injured police personnel. Provincial Minister Amir Mir, Ibrahim Murad, ACS, IG Police and other officers were also present on the occasion.
