AIOU exhibits Research-based projects,models

slamabad : Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) is committed to providing academic support to its students to help them showcase their business ideas following the mission of Vice Chancellor, AIOU, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood, to encourage the development of innovative business concepts. Recently, the Department of Chemistry at AIOU organized an exhibition of research-based projects and models/posters created by BS Chemistry students. In total, 71 students participated in the exhibition, with 30 projects being featured. The event was well-attended by students.During the certificate distribution ceremony, Dr. Uzma Yunus, Chairperson, Department of Chemistry, shared that AIOU aims to encourage the younger generation to take up entrepreneurship, enabling them to support their parents and contribute to the socio-economic development of the country. She also mentioned that the exhibition was part of the ongoing events at the university celebrating the Golden Jubilee. Dr. Uzma Younis extended her gratitude to Prof. Dr. Irshad Ahmed Arshad, the Dean of Faculty of Sciences, and Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood, the Vice Chancellor of AIOU, for their support in organizing the exhibition. It is worth noting that AIOU will be celebrating its Golden Jubilee in 2024, and various academic events are planned to mark the occasion.
