London : Raja Sikander Khan Chairman Pakistan & Kashmiri outfit representing the diaspora and the think tank Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council.
He has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl, a prominent figure in the struggle for the right of self-determination in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Raja Sikander stated that his thoughts and his prayers are with the deceased great leader’s family and friends during this difficult time.
Raja Sikander Khan stated that Prof. Nazir Shawl was a highly educated, an intellectual great leader, great Human Being, a great friend and a great mentor, I was very fortunate to share many platforms and stages with him, infact we went to United Nations Geneva in September 2018 to attend United Nations Human Rights 39th Session where we travelled together and stayed in same hotel as well as attended sessions together, Raja Sikander further stated that after attending United Nation Geneva’s Human Rights 39th session together we became very close and I learnt so much from the great leader and he always motivated me on Kashmir cause issues as well as praising my and my organisation Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council’s activities.
May Almighty ALLAH bless his soul and grant him the highest abode in Jannat Ul Firdoas and patience to all his family and loved ones to bear his huge loss, he will be dearly missed by all of us as he was a great leader and a true pioneer in the Kashmir Movement, his legacy will be remembered beyond boundaries.
