Peshawar : Throughout the year, a total of 𝟐,𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 were carried out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against terrorists and extortionists.
These efforts resulted in the
𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝟕𝟐𝟔 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬, with 𝟐𝟓𝟓 𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 during the operations.
The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) reported that 184 police personnel lost their lives, and 408 were injured in terrorism-related incidents.
Over the course of the year,
𝟏,𝟎𝟗𝟑 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 and extortion faced legal action, with 810 successfully traced.
Bails of 93 accused individuals implicated in extortion and terrorism were cancelt, including 38 from Peshawar, 18 from Mardan, 10 from DI Khan, 7 from Kohat, 9 from Mohmand, and other districts.
