Kashmiri appeals political parties to include Kashmir issue in their manifestos

Muzaffarabad : Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Uzair Ahmed Ghazali has said that founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah has declared Kashmir as jugular vein of Pakistan so all political parties must enter Kashmir freedom movement in their manifestos for upcoming elections. He said that India is trying to crush the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people by state coercion and military force. In this regard, people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir look towards the leadership of Pakistan besides their role regarding Kashmir freedom movement. Ghazali maintained that the illegal fencing on the cease-fire line of the internationally recognized disputed state by the Indian government, the cruel actions of the Indian Lok Sabha on August 5, 2019 and then the biased and political decisions of the Indian Supreme Court on December 11, 2023 are the worst atrocities of the Bharatiya Janata Party government on millions of citizens of Occupied Kashmir. He said that such Indian acts have raised many questions for the government of Pakistan, political and religious parties as their role of main party towards Kashmir issue. “All the political parties of Pakistan including Pakistan Peoples Party, Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Muslim League-N, Tehreek-e-Insaf, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Muslim League-Q, Milli Muslim League Pakistan, Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan, Awami National Party, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party etc must enter Kashmir issue and their unflinching support in their manifesto”, he appalled. He further said that millions of new voters of Pakistan could be aware of their responsibilities regarding Kashmir freedom movement. “For the last 4 elections, it has been observed that the political parties are neglecting the most important and sensitive issue of Kashmir in the election activities”, adding that neither any voice was being raised against Indian terrorism nor public support is being obtained for Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination. “It is a clear deviation from Pakistan’s national Kashmir policy and the sayings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah regarding the state of Jammu and Kashmir”, he pointed.Uzair said that the people of Occupied Kashmir are fighting against one million soldiers of India, cruel black laws and state oppression. In these circumstances, it is Pakistan’s constitutional, national and religious responsibility is to revive the national Kashmir policy for the freedom of the Kashmiri people who are victims of Indian oppression.
