
London : The Chairman, Raja Sikander Khan, and President Kala Khan of Pakistan & Kashmiri outfit, representing the diaspora and the esteemed renowned think tank Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council, took up the matter of Chaudhary Tasaraf from Rochdale, England, who traveled to Pakistan. Soon after leaving Islamabad International Airport on his way to his destination through Rawalpindi, at the Peshawar bend, he fell victim to bandits disguised as Pakistan Police. They attempted to rob him, and in resisting, Ch. Tasaraf was fatally shot, and his belongings were taken.As it’s not the first time that this type of incident took place with our overseas brothers & sisters while returning back to our native homeland. Therefore, we, as the overseas community, must unite together and take measures to prioritize the security of our overseas community members while returning to their homeland. In view of all this, we, at the platform of Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council, arranged a meeting with His Excellency High Commissioner of Pakistan Dr. Mohammad Faisal along with Deputy High Commissioner Dr. Faisal Aziz Ahmed, Minister Press Mr. Ali Nawz Malik, Mrs. Naila Israr Consular Political, Mr. Fahad Saleem Second Secretary / Alternate Permanent Representative To International Maritime Affairs in London at London Pakistan High Commission.The Chairman, Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council, Raja Sikander Khan, led the delegation consisting of British Pakistani/ Kashmiri community leaders from various cities of the UK. Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council President Greater London, Raja Sultan Zil-Ul Hussnain Ali Khan, Chairman Third World Solidarity Mushtaq Lasharie, Adviser to President AJK Ch. Dil Pazeer, Senior Politician Ashraf Chughtai, Major (R) Hasssn Malik, Prominent Businessman AKHTAR Jajja, Community Leader from Watford AMJAD Amin Bobby, and President UKPCCI Sardar Shafquat Khan.

Raja Sikander Khan, leading the delegation, thanked His Excellency, the High Commissioner of Pakistan in London, for his valuable time at a very short notice and requested the Honourable High Commissioner to demand the Government of Pakistan for robust security measures and decisive action against bandits and culprits attempting to harm innocent overseas community members while returning to their homeland. Raja Sikander Khan further demanded from the Government of Pakistan that whenever the members of the overseas community return to Pakistan, they all go through the Immigration, customs & Taxes Channels as required by the appropriate authorities and agencies but once they have gone through all the required channels than they should not be stopped outside the airports or on the way to their destinations of their residence in Pakistan & Azad Kashmir, which the Honourable High Commissioner of Pakistan welcomed the delegation members and told the delegation that the recent incident was being investigated very actively by Rawalpindi Police in Pakistan and assured that the strict action shall be taken and the perpetrators shall be brought to justice. His Excellency further instructed the High Commission staff that a letter should be written to Pakistan Interior Ministry that once the overseas community members have gone through all the Airport Chanel’s and have come out of the Airport than they should not be stopped by any police or custom authorities.At the end of the meeting, His Excellency expressed his deep sorrow over the recent incident and conveyed his condolences to the deceased’s family, and finally, everyone offered prayers for the deceased’s maghfarat.
