Pakistan dispatched relief goods for Gaza

Islamabad : Pakistan Maintains its Commitment to Providing Humanitarian Aid to Gaza As part of Government of Pakistan directions to send humanitarian support for people of Gaza, Pakistan Air Force provided service aircraft for NDMA coordinated fourth despatch. With the collective contribution of Pakistan Army, Airforce and Al-Khidmat Foundation fourth tranche of humanitarian aid has been dispatched in support of the People of Gaza. Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Ahmad Rabaie, Reps of Al-Khidmat Foundation, senior officers of NDMA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Armed Forces attended the end-off ceremony at Nur Khan Air Base.
These relief items were sent through special Pakistan Airforce IL-78 flight to Jordan, for further distribution to the affected people of Gaza.
Deeply concerned by the escalating situation in Gaza, the Foreign Minister reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and urged an immediate cessation of hostilities to allow for the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.
The Palestinian Ambassador, present at the occasion expressed deep gratitude to Pakistani people for the ongoing support, highlighting the powerful symbolism of their solidarity.
This fourth relief consignment comprises approx 20 tons of aid including 13 tons of essential medical supplies and 7 tons of dry food items as per ground needs at Gaza. Earlier, NDMA had sent three relief consignments which included special winterized tents, blankets, surgical supplies, medicines, and food packs for distressed people of Gaza, and more aid is also planned to be sent.
In this time of hardship, Pakistan’s unwavering support stands with the Palestinian brothers and sisters, offering a hand of solidarity.
