
Islamabad: A Memorandum of Understanding is signed between Amna Munawwar Awan President of the Center of Pakistan and International Relations and Dr. Zuhair Ahmed, Pakistan’s 1st Quantum Computer Inventor (QQ1) to support each other for the Development of Quantum Computer and its training program.

Dr. Zuhair Ahmed, a distinguished scientist and MIT Ph.D. graduate showcases his profound expertise and shares a review of his book, “Quantum 2050.” He highlights a glimpse into Dr. Zuhair Ahmed’s remarkable contributions, emphasizing his pivotal role in the ambitious project to establish Pakistan’s inaugural quantum computer. Within this comprehensive work, Dr. Zuhair draws upon his extensive knowledge and experience to explore the intersection of quantum technology and the year 2050, envisioning a future where quantum computing revolutionizes the landscape of information processing.
Center of Pakistan and International Relations has a number of achievements in Emerging Technology COPAIR established the first Center for Artificial Intelligence COPAIR also worked on research and publications in Data Science, Robotics, Cyber Security, OSINT, Digital Diplomacy, and Digital Media.
Amna Munawwar Awan the President of COPAIR has completed her post-graduation in Emerging Technology and Cyber Security from MIT in the USA. She is doing her Ph.D. in Digital Transformation and Future Governance from Girne, American University.

President COPAIR, in her welcoming remarks, highlighted the collaboration between the organizations through joint publications, policy briefs, capacity-building workshops, and the development of the first Quantum Computers. COPAIR, in collaboration with Dr. Zuhair Ahmed’s institutions, plans to organize a series of captivating case studies in AI, Quantum Computing, Data Analytics, Technology, and Space Sciences. Dr. Zuhair acknowledged COPAIR’s work, expressing a joint plan to increase quantum computing usage experiences for advancing technology and promoting commercialization. Both organizations share a focus on innovation and youth empowerment.
Dr Zuhair said he is planning to contribute to the Research Journal of COPAIR and both organizations organize an international conference on “Quantum Computing for Future Governance and Warfare”

In concluding remarks, President COPAIR, Amna Munawar Awan, highlighted that this remarkable initiative will strengthen the Emerging Technology labs of both organizations, fostering more innovation in every field of life. The collaboration is planned in diversified areas, including quantum computer deployment and expansion, application development, and education. The MoU underscores both companies’ shared commitment to working together with stakeholders in the ecosystem to boost Pakistan’s growing quantum computing sector.
