NTC team improve and enhance the program for players benefit.

ITF White Recognition Status

Islamabad : The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) is pleased to convey that based on the criteria and after an extensive review of the Pakistan Tennis Federation National Training Center Islamabad, The International Tennis Federation (ITF) recognizes that all the criteria have been met at the White Level. The PTF-NTC serves as the national academy and was launched in 2019. The ITF, in consultation with several leading tennis nations, established criteria and minimum standards for NTCs, which were adopted by the ITF Board of Directors. These criteria were put together to ensure quality standards in NTCs worldwide.

Executive Director of Development ITF Mr. Luca Santilli congratulated the PTF on achieving the ITF White Recognition status. The ITF agrees to formally recognize the Pakistan National Training Centre at the White level for a four-year period from the 27th of February 2024 until the 26th of February 2028.

President PTF Mr Aisam ul Haq Qureshi and Ex-President PTF Mr Salim Saifullah Khan thanked the ITF and Mr Santilli for their recognition of PTF’s NTC. They also congratulated Head Coach-NTC Mr. Asim Shafik, National Development Director, and his team including Assistant Coach Noman ul Haq and Physio Dr. Furqan Ahmad for planning and implementing the program, as well as all the coaches and players who have been associated with the NTC. He further stated that the NTC should be expanded and the NTC team should improve and enhance the program further, so that even more players may benefit from the program.
