Islamabad: The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) has launched the Short Film Contest 2024, under the inspiring theme “Peaceful Pakistan; A Gateway to Prosperity”. This creative competition is open to all individuals passionate about showcasing their vision of a harmonious and prosperous Pakistan through the powerful medium of film. Entrants are encouraged to submit their original short films, ranging in duration from 4 to 7 minutes, that capture the essence of peace as the foundation for national prosperity. The deadline for submissions is set for April 30, 2024. In recognition of creative excellence and to foster artistic endeavors, NACTA has announced substantial cash awards for the top three entries: the first-place winner will receive Rs. 250,000, the second-place winner Rs. 150,000, and the third-place winner Rs. 100,000, along with certificates to commemorate their achievements. This initiative not only highlights NACTA’s commitment to promoting peace and prosperity in Pakistan but also provides a platform for emerging filmmakers to contribute to the nation’s narrative.
