Minister for Railways, Shahid Ashraf Tarar, underscored the substantial investment opportunities available for French businesses in Pakistan during his meeting with French Ambassador to Pakistan, Nicolas Galey, in Islamabad.
Minister Tarar mentioned that Pakistan Railways is actively engaged in the development of a route from Kohat to Kharlachi to establish a connection with Afghanistan. He also pointed out that the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway M-6 offers a promising investment avenue for French companies. Additionally, he noted the expansion of operations by the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation, which presents further investment opportunities.
Ambassador Galey acknowledged the longstanding history of cooperation between Pakistan and France and the interest expressed by French investors in Pakistani projects. He assured that efforts would be made to attract more French investors, ultimately leading to substantial investments in Pakistan.
